Dr Katrina Colgan enjoys seeing patients from all ages, backgrounds and is committed to helping patients with all aspects of their health.
Dr Kate Colgan is a GP Registrar in her second term of General Practice training. She completed her Medical Degree at the University of Notre Dame Sydney in 2014. Prior to this she worked for a number of years as a health policy advisor at the federal Department of Health and Ageing in Canberra.
Kate is passionate about child and adolescent health and has completed a Diploma in Child Health and Advanced Paediatric Life Support training. Last year she worked at the Children’s Hospital at Westmead undertaking rotations in emergency medicine, general medicine, the neonatal intensive care unit and child and adolescent psychiatry. Prior to this Kate worked at Blacktown Hospital for two years where she gained experience in emergency medicine, geriatrics, general surgery and psychiatry.
Kate has loved embarking on a career in General Practice and enjoys the diverse nature of the work. She likes working with patients of all ages and backgrounds and is committed to helping patients with all aspects of their health.
In her spare time Kate enjoys yoga, relaxing with a good book or travelling and exploring new places.
Dr Kate Colgan consults on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 8:30 am – 6:00 pm and alternate Saturdays from 8:30 am – 1:00 pm. Visits with Dr Kate Colgan can be bulk billed.
